Extend Mission RangeGeneral Dynamics Armament and Technical Products produces lightweight composite external fuel tanks for a variety of fighter aircraft. The fuel tanks are fabricated using non-metallic, filament-wound materials incorporating sandwich construction. Composite construction allows GDATP to offer durable external fuel tanks that provide extended combat range without a major weight constraint. |
