General Dynamics Receives $5 Million Order for Hydra-70 Rockets

BURLINGTON, VT- General Dynamics Armament Systems has received an order from the U.S. Army Operations Support Command valued at $5.07 million. This order is for the production of HYDRA-70 rockets and motors for the U.S. Army, Navy and foreign militaries.  This order is part of a five-year contract that General Dynamics Armament Systems was awarded in June 1999. The company manages this program at its Burlington, Vermont headquarters with final load, assemble and pack taking place in Camden, Arkansas.

Total contract value to date stands at $396.8 million against a maximum potential value of $1.2 billion over the five-year contract period. Contract deliveries against the most recent order runs from June 2002 through June 2003.
