BURLINGTON, VT- General Dynamics Armament Systems has received an order from the U.S. Army Operations Support Command valued at $9,826,403. This order is for the demilitarization of various quantities of nine different families of munitions ranging from 20mm ammunition to 2,000-lb. bombs. It is the second order against a potential $144 million, five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract General Dynamics that was awarded in May of 1999.
