Health and Wellness

As an employee of General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, we care about your health and well-being and have wellness programs for employees to stay healthy. We offer opportunities to participate in wellness fairs, receive monthly wellness newsletters and much more. Good health is a valuable asset for employees and their family. 

Tuition Assistance

GDATP provides tuition assistance to eligible employees to continue their education by reimbursing tuition costs up to 100 percent for business and engineering undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Holidays

GDATP offers 11 paid holidays per year. The core holidays across all of our sites: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Paid Time Off

Paid Time Off (PTO) combines vacation, sick and personal business into one bank that can be used at the employee's discretion. New full-time employees accrue PTO at a rate of ten hours per month, for a possible accrual of three weeks per year dependent on hire date. Employees have the potential to accrue additional PTO after five, ten and fifteen years of service. 

Employee Assistance Program

From time to time, everyone may encounter problems and conflicts, which can feel overwhelming. GDATP offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to assist employees and their families in addressing these problems that can compromise personal satisfaction and sometimes affect job performance. The program is intended to support our workforce in their contribution to the company and support our employees as individuals by providing a professional and confidential resource to address personal problems.
