General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products is a full-service shelter manufacturer and integrator. Within a 400,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Marion, Va., we design, fabricate, integrate and test shelters and vehicle enclosures ranging in size from lightweight High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle enclosures to 20-foot ISO containers.
Having produced more than 11,000 shelter units since the early 1970s, GDATP is well-suited for high-rate production and specialized custom fabrication. GDATP designs, fabricates and installs vehicle-mounted enclosures of honeycomb composite or foam and beam construction. We also provide electromagnetic interference shielding, full military standard compliance, ballistic hardening and qualification testing, as required by various applications.
