The history of today’s General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products began in 1948 when General Electric purchased the Bell Aircraft factory located in Burlington, Vermont. From our heritage in Gatling guns to continuous reinvention, GDATP continues to be poised for growth in the future.
It is our policy to ensure customer satisfaction by providing quality products and services and by applying mission success and total quality principles to continuously improve all business activities.
We are committed to conducting business with high ethical standards. Each day our employees make decisions that are critical to our success, so it is vitally important to foster an environment in which people are encouraged to do the right thing to better serve our fellow employees, customers, communities and shareholders.
GDATP has a long tradition of donating time and dollars to support the needs of our local communities. Employees are proud to participate in non-profit organizations, events and fundraising activities across the nation.
