Advanced Biological Detection
The Biological Agent Warning Sensor produced by General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products is an advanced biological agent detection system used to detect and warn personnel of imminent threats.
BAWS analyzes the surrounding atmosphere by collecting aerosol samples. Using Laser-Induced Fluorescence, BAWS searches for a broad range of biological agent particles.
