The F-15E fighter is armed with General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products' M61A1 20mm Gatling-gun-based weapon system for air superiority, ground attack, and interdiction missions. The gun features a selectable rate of fire ranging from 4,000 to 6,000 shots per minute and is compatible with all M50- and PGU-series ammunition.
