GAU-12/U 25mm Gatling Gun System

The 25mm GAU-12/U Gatlign gun system produced by General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products was recently selected for the Joint Strike Fighter, a new attack aircraft with future roles in all major branches of the military. With muzzle velocities of 3,400 and 3,560 feet per second and a firing rate of 4,200 shots per minute, the GAU-12/U provides an effective, lethal weapon for a variety of combat missions.
