BAWS

The Biological Agent Warning Sensor produced by General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products is an advanced biological agent detection system used to detect and warn personnel of imminent threats.

BAWS is currently deployed in the Department of Defense’s Portal Shield and the Joint Biological Point Detection System, in addition to many other platform-integrated and stand-alone configurations for military and homeland security applications.
